Giveaway rules

These rules apply to every monthly giveaway run by Frozen Rips ("we", "us"), the sponsor. By entering, you agree to them. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or run by Whatnot, Discord, or any card manufacturer.
1. Who can enter
Residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are 18 or older (or the age of majority in their province, if higher) when they enter. Our immediate family and household members can't enter.
2. Giveaway period
Each monthly giveaway opens at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the first day of the month and closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the last day of the month, unless a different period is announced on this site.
Launch giveaway: the first giveaway runs from 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on December 1, 2026 to 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on January 31, 2027. Monthly giveaways start February 1, 2027.
3. How to enter
No purchase is necessary, and buying does not improve your chances of winning. You can earn entries these ways:
- Submit the entry form on frozenrips.ca (1 entry per giveaway).
- Hold Veteran or Captain status in Ice Time Rewards when the giveaway closes (2 bonus entries per giveaway).
Free alternative: anyone can get the same 2 bonus entries by emailing hello@frozenrips.ca with the subject "Giveaway entry" and their name and Whatnot username (limit one email per giveaway). Each entrant can have no more than 3 entries per giveaway in total.
4. Prize
One 2024-25 O-Pee-Chee Platinum Matt Boldy Power Playmakers Rainbow Autograph card (#PM-10), approximate retail value $45 CAD, based on recent sold listings. Prizes are not transferable and can't be exchanged for cash. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
5. Draw and odds
The winner is drawn at random from all eligible entries on or around the second day after each giveaway closes (February 2, 2027 for the launch giveaway), using an online random wheel where each entry gets its own equal slot. The draw is not held on a live stream. The full draw is screen recorded, and the recording is posted on frozenrips.ca with the winner's Whatnot username. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Skill-testing question
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without help, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.
7. Contacting the winner
We'll contact the selected entrant by email or Whatnot message within 3 days of the draw. If they don't respond within 7 days, can't be reached, or don't meet these rules, we'll draw another entrant.
8. Your information
We use the information you give us only to run the giveaway and, if you opted in, to email you. Read our privacy policy for details.
9. General
We may disqualify entries that are automated, fraudulent, or break these rules. We may cancel or change a giveaway if something beyond our control affects how it runs fairly. Ontario law applies to these rules.
