Frozen Rips is a small hockey card business based in Sudbury, Ontario. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Giveaway entries: your Whatnot username, email address, and confirmation that you're eligible.
- Email sign-ups: your email address and your consent to receive emails.
- Ice Time Rewards: your Whatnot username, Ice Time and Pucks balance, based on your purchases in our Whatnot shows.
We don't collect payment information. All purchases happen on Whatnot, under Whatnot's own privacy policy.
Why we use it
- To run giveaways, pick a winner and contact them.
- To send the break schedule and promotions, only if you agreed.
- To track and honour rewards points.
We never sell or rent your information.
Rewards points lookup
The "Check your Ice Time" tool on our home page reads from a list of Whatnot usernames, Ice Time and Pucks balances. Whatnot usernames are already public, but if you'd rather not appear in that list, tell us and we'll remove you. You'll still earn points.
Where it's stored
Form entries are stored by our website host, Netlify. If you subscribe to emails, your address is also stored by the email newsletter service we use. These services may store data outside Canada.
How long we keep it
Giveaway entries are deleted 90 days after each draw. Email subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. Ice Time and Pucks balances are kept while the program runs. Pucks never expire.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link in any email.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@frozenrips.ca.
